Medical Services of America, Inc. (MSA) began providing Home Healthcare services in 1973 and we have grown to become one of the nation’s leading privately-owned home healthcare providers. MSA is based in Lexington, S.C. with a national scope that provides home care services throughout 13 states. We have offices located in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Even with a widespread presence, MSA still has a local, small-town appeal. All offices are company-owned, not franchised, to ensure the highest quality of home care available.

Home Health

MSA's home health agencies are committed to caring for and educating patients to live as independently as possible. We will provide services in the comfort of your home while you’re recovering from an illness or surgery. This includes Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Home healthcare services require that a patient have a medical need and be homebound. This means that the patient only leaves home on occasion and requires the assistance of an adaptive device or another person. As physical capabilities diminish, more people are electing to live independent, non-institutionalized lives and receive care in their home, which may be covered 100% by Medicare. As hospital stays decrease, increasing numbers of patients need highly skilled services when they return home.

Hospice Care

At MSA, the overall philosophy of our hospice care division is to provide individuals and their families with the true compassion, caring and support they deserve as they deal with a life-limiting illness. Hospice care is about quality of life, making every moment matter, and helping our patients live those days as they choose in the comfort of their own home surrounded by their loved ones. We can provide a specialized team of dedicated caregivers who are chosen to meet the unique needs of every hospice patient. This team can include the patient’s physician, hospice physicians, nurse practitioners, medical directors, hospice nurses, nursing assistants, volunteers, social workers, chaplains and grief counselors.

Home Medical Equipment

The Home Medical Equipment (HME) division is a full-service provider of respiratory products, oxygen therapy, sleep therapy, diabetic supplies, enteral nutrition, as well as ambulatory devices and aids for daily living that help improve your quality of life. This includes sales, service, and rentals with free delivery in your area. With a reputation for superior customer service, top quality home medical products, we are committed to providing a full-service healthcare solution to ensure the best patient care possible. Our specialized equipment delivery techs will deliver the equipment, set it up for you, and help train the patient and caregiver for safe and easy use. To ease the unnecessary burden of financial concerns, our HME division can also provide direct Medicare and insurance billing.

MedXPress

This division of MSA offers a unique “Get My Supplies” program for home delivery of high-quality products and supplies for diabetic patients, as well as patients diagnosed with sleep apnea.
